Our Goal

To engage and connect the freestyle communities across BC with a fun digital contest!

Schedule

  • Contest opens: February 18th
  • Submissions until: March 17th
  • Digital Banquet / Zoom Awards: March 25th

Submitting

  • Find your category
  • Submit clip - must be filmed during sanctioned training
  • Contest limited to 250 participants
  • Each contestant can enter all 3 disciplines
  • Over $10,000 worth in prizes!
  • Max file size 500mb

Big Air

  • 3 TRICKS - Best trick counts
  • Singular clip of 3 jumps
  • OPEN category - New judging rule in affect (best two tricks counts):

    You must either change direction in spins or switch your takeoff position for ex. First trick left 1080, must either spin to right or take off switch for other jump to be scored.

    • $500 cash prize for open category winners, female and male - brought to you by SilverStar Mountain Resort

Slopestyle

  • Clips must contain 2 jumps + 2 rails
  • CONTINUOUS FILM - MUST BE ONE CLIP!
  • Submit 2 runs

    • Open category winners, female and male, will take home a new pair of Liberty Skis

Moguls

  • Must be continuous filming
  • Full mogul runs with two airs
  • Submit 2 runs

    • K2 mogul skis for open category winners, female and male - brought to you by Mountain Cultures

Prizing

    Sport Chek gift certificates for each age category and all diciplines:
  • 1st: $100
  • 2nd: $75
  • 3rd: $50

    • Plus Liberty Skis, K2 Skis, cash prize and more!

Judging

Breakdown - Athletes will be ranked top 3

  • Big Air: Best 2 jumps combined score
  • Slopestyle: Best run (Containing 2 jumps, 2 rails)
  • Mogul: Best run

    • No two ski venues are created equal. Do the best you can on the terrain you have, and the judges will do their best to balance the playing field in their evaluation. The judges will be evaluating based on the following criteria:

    Creativity • Expression • Fun • Progression • Community

How can you help?

  • Assisting in putting together trick combinations
  • Filming runs
  • Moral support!

Battle of the coaches:

  • Join in on the ACTION!
  • Overall coach winner will take home $500 voucher for coaching certifications next year
  • Judging open to public
